Please Consider Being a Walking Group Leader

If you’re interested in Mentoring in Medicine, exercise, and/or health education, please consider being a walking group leader! Doing this is a great way to build up your leadership skills and take your involvement to the next level. Be sure to account for a commitment of an extra hour to two hours per a week to participate in a weekly conference call, data collection, walking group logistics, and phone/email reminders. Walking group leaders may be eligible for extra prizes, special treats, or a small stipend and all walking group leaders will receive a 2010 Community Health Ambassador certificate and special recognition upon completion of the Walking Challenge. Email WalkWithMIM@gmail.com with interest.

Please Consider Being on our Organizing Committee

Walking group leaders will automatically participate in short weekly conference calls of the organizing committee, however, any walker who wished to give extra advice & be more involved is encouraged to join. Weekly conference calls will take place Thursdays at 9pm. Email WalkWithMIM@gmail.com with interest.
